What is a theme?
A theme (or some may call it a story) is just like in a book or movie. It's the main idea of your business and what your photo session will be centered around. It's visually telling a story. If you are a piano teacher, for example, one theme would be showing you with your piano. Sitting on the bench, playing the piano, and standing next to your piano. A second theme is a clothing change and could be taking pictures with you and a student. It would a behind the scenes, type of shoot. You teaching and me taking images of you teaching. A third theme could be you doing what you like to do most outside of teaching the piano. Maybe you like to go running, wake up and cook breakfast with your kids, or sit outside and read your books. These aspects show the human side of you and connect best on a personal level with your audience. When you combine all three your audience gets to know, like, and trust you. Which turns them into clients and/or customers.
